Charminar

It is Hyderabad’s most iconic landmark and it is a notable memorial and mosque that echoes the Indo-Islamic construction of its eras. Built of limestone and granite at each of four cardinal corners of this monument are fifty six -metre high ornate turrets with double balconies.  The stairs head to the second level that is also where the open-air mosque lays. The archways of this Charminar open out on to vibrant streets for a beautiful view.

Hussain Sagar Lake

A retreat in the heart of Hyderabad, this Hussain Sagar Lake is given name after Hussain Shah Wali. The chief Fascination at this manmade lake is an eighteen meter high, four hundred fifty -tonne statue of Buddha in the middle. It is carved out of white granite that took two long years to get completed. It virtually glows mainly on a full moon night. This Hussain Sagar Lake is also famous for boating and along its margin are other popular cities fascinations like Lumbini Park and Birla Mandir add to the charm.

The Golconda Fort

It is one of India’s most imposing forts and it encompasses four district forts surrounded by a ten -kilometre long wall.  With four drawbridges, over eighty strongholds, various temples, halls, mosques, royal residences, it is nothing short of regal. While maximum of it stands in the ruins, clues of its past grandiose can be witnessed within its enclosures bragging of Mughal style architecture.

Ramoji Film City

Now this is something that should be on everybody’s bucket list. Movie enthusiasts will surely enjoy a day spent at this massive Ramoji Film City. It was set up by Ramoji Group in the year 1996; it is the world’s hugest film studio complex.  It is scattered across an astounding 2000 acres, Ramoji Film City is the place wherein various popular regional language, Hindi and even the international movies have been shot.  Within the large premises, there are alternatives for the dining, shopping and most importantly entertainment in the shape of movie studio tours, many live shows and an adventure park. There is much to do at this spot.
