Each workshop is $125.

We will have a Meet-n-Greet with Carol on Tuesday, October 14th from 6 - 8 pm - bring your wheel!!

Carol H. Rhoades has taught spinning and knitting in the US and abroad for many years. Her particular interest is in Scandinavian primitive sheep and how their wools have been used in particular knitting traditions. She is the Technical Editor of and a frequent contributor to Spin-Off magazine and has also published articles in PieceWork, Interweave Knits, and Gavstrik (a Danish knitting magazine). Carol has translated a number of Scandinavian knitting books into English.

Gatherings


A free gathering for fiber enthusiests of all kinds. Join us for food and fun the first Friday of every month, 6 - 9 pm.

Matthew Flesch, L.Ac., D.Ac., graduated from Bastyr University, WA, where he received his Masters of Acupuncture degree, and from Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, ON, where he received his Diploma of Acupuncture. Currently practicing in Kirkland, Matthew specializes in treating chonic and acute pain conditions, stress, anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders. Matthew is an avid knitter and is fond of tea and croquet.

At the Knit Nite Matthew will be giving Chinese Energy-balancing Massage. This massage focuses on the head, neck, arms, and legs with the aim of improving energy and blood flow through the body. Very relaxing!


Monthly Spinning Group

Bring your spindle or wheel and join our monthly spinning group.

Every 2nd Thursday, 6-9 pm

We carry Majacraft, Schacht, Ashford and Louet wheels and accessories.

September 11th spinning night: bring your traveling wheel and meet with Doug Dodd - creator of the Pocket Wheel! Doug will be in the shop from 6 to 7:30 pm.


Sock Sorority

Every 3rd Saturday, 2 -4 pm

Come one, come all...you devoted sock knitters! One Saturday a month, come to our lovely shop and knit socks, sip some tea and enjoy the company of other sock enthusiasts.

Directions

From I-5 (north or south):
Take exit 177 and go east on Ballinger Way approx. half a mile.

From Bothell Highway/Lake City Way:
Turn at the light for Ballinger Way NE (at the Lake Forest Park Towne Centre) and drive west about 1 mile.

We are located in the new 25th Place Condos building on the north side of Ballinger Way. There is parking in front of the building with additional parking along 25th.

Parking Issues

Parking in the front lot is limited to spots that are labeled with our shop name AND two 30 minute spots on the east side of the lot. Please do not park in any of the Allstate spots on the west side of the lot. If our spots are full, you can park anywhere along 25th Ave.
