Knit-a-square.com has been recently set up to ask the knitters and crocheters of the world to send an 8 x 8” (20 x 20cm) square, or more, to specified charities in South Africa, where they will be made up into blankets for these children.

Men's Fall Knitting Retreat 2009

WEEKEND RETREAT KNITTING WORKSHOPS
Letting men gather in beautiful settings and
explore their passion for knitting,
crocheting, spinning and all things fiber.

When: Labor Day weekend (9/3-6, Thursday-Sunday).

Where: Dumas Bay Center(near Seattle, WA)

How Much: $330.00 includes lodging, linens and all meals for 4 days & 3 nights.(does NOT include airfare, shuttles, etc.)

Directions

From I-5 (north or south):
Take exit 177 and go east on Ballinger Way approx. half a mile.

From Bothell Highway/Lake City Way:
Turn at the light for Ballinger Way NE (at the Lake Forest Park Towne Centre) and drive west about 1 mile.

We are located in the new 25th Place Condos building on the north side of Ballinger Way. There is parking in front of the building with additional parking along 25th.

Parking Issues

Parking in the front lot is limited to spots that are labeled with our shop name AND two 30 minute spots on the east side of the lot. Please do not park in any of the Allstate spots on the west side of the lot. If our spots are full, you can park anywhere along 25th Ave.
